In 1992, Bev Fleet and Allan Morse started their own business under the name Dutchmen Construction. When they
started, the only peice of equipment that they had was a bulldozer.
As the business grew the name was changed to fit the expanding list of services. Today, Dutchmen Contracting does general
construction; bulldozing, excavating, trucking, top soil, and septic system, as well construction and transportation of feed
and materials for aquaculture and fisheries. Dutchmen now has a fleet of 12 transport trucks, 2 boom truck, loaders,
backhoes, dump trucks and several other peices of equipment to accomplish just about any construction job done.
